Made me cry. Wonderful rendition. Playing the game myself, this moment passed over me. I had already known about it, so there was no shock. It was still sad of course, but I was largely unphased. However, years later, when I had my boyfriend play through the game, and Aerith became his favorite character early on, I was shaken to my core by the scene. Now the song crushes me. That night was very hard on both of us.

Keep in mind folks that Andrew is playing _every single instrument_ in his videos, except when there's a credited guest contribution or sample. Arranged, layered and recorded beautifully. Even the drums here, I've seen another video and he's keeping perfect tempo on a set. For the quality he brings, this channel is incredibly underrated.

I love how this theme is at once its own while still paying homage to the Temple of Fiends theme from from the end of Final Fantasy. Even the whole scene is, with teleportation to a place you cannot leave and the desperate crashing though battle after battle with difficult and terrifying enemies the heroes have already defeated now alive again before facing the horrible final boss. These are the things that make Japanese media so fulfilling.

You and your team are incredibly talented musicians, and clearly played the same games as me growing up lol Keep up the good work! You deserve more attention and it will come with time :)

That point in the game where the plot expanded and you were no longer getting any sleep until you finished it. ... actually that point was the kingdom of Zeal, but this was a big part of it.

Holy shit dude, this is a cover that captures that sense of foreboding and dread this song has almost spot frigging on. You know shit's about to hit the fan when you get to this part of the game. Easily one of my favorite parts due to this music alone. Great job in hitting it on all fronts sir, I salute you.
